A regularly occurring theme of conversation is all the access we get here in Southern California. Last week on Thursday, my friend invited me on a last minute trip out to the desert, to a racetrack. We left the Beach area early the next morning, and we were drifting cars on a track in a remote area by 10am that day.

I took these photos in the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. There are a few really great access points for viewing flowers like this located on Laguna Canyon Road, especially north of the 73 Freeway.
